Surah Al-Hashr
the 59th chapter of the Quran, is named after the Arabic word for "The Exile" or "The Banishment."
It is a Madinan Surah, revealed during the time when the Muslim community faced challenges and conflicts in Medina. The Surah begins with a description of the expulsion of the Jewish tribe of Banu Nadir from Medina due to their betrayal and hostility.
